The best NBA betting apps for the 2026-27 season
Every NBA team plays 82 regular-season games, and there are games most nights from late October to mid-April. Over that many bets, small differences in price add up, and a 48-minute game whose line moves on almost every possession puts a live-betting menu to work.
This list mixes two kinds of app. Sportsbooks such as DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM set the line, build their margin into it, and operate only in states that license them. Prediction markets such as Novig and Kalshi match users against each other under regulation from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which is how they reach states with no legal sportsbook. Our state-by-state guide to where NBA betting is legal has the current map.
The ranking weighs cost per bet first, then player-prop depth, same-game parlays, live betting and app-store ratings. On a sportsbook, a standard NBA spread or total is usually priced at -110 on both sides: you risk $110 to win $100, and the book keeps about 4.5% of the money wagered on the two sides combined.

1. Novig: no vig on pre-game NBA bets
Novig is a peer-to-peer sports prediction market. Its registered entity, Ludlow Exchange, LLC, which does business as Novig, was designated a contract market by the CFTC on June 16, 2026. There’s no house on the other side. You buy a contract on an outcome at a price between $0 and $1, another user takes the opposite position, and a winning contract pays $1. Prices are whatever users will trade at, and you can post your own price and wait for someone to take it.
Cost is the reason it’s first. Under Novig’s published fee schedule, pre-game straight trades carry no fee for either side. At even money, 100 contracts cost $50 and return $100, a $50 profit on $50, where a -110 sportsbook line asks $55 to win the same $50. Takers pay a fee on live trades, which works out to 75 cents per 100 contracts at even money on an NBA game, and on futures and parlays, where the parlay fee is already in the quoted price. A maker whose resting order gets filled pays nothing on any trade type.
Its help center lists the NBA menu: spreads, totals, moneylines, first-half lines, team totals and player props on first basket, points, rebounds, assists, threes, combinations such as points plus rebounds plus assists, and double-doubles. Its App Store score of 4.6 comes from about 6,200 ratings, a small base next to the sportsbooks, and it’s the lowest App Store score here.
Best for: bettors who mostly play pre-game spreads, totals and core player props
Pricing: no fee on pre-game straight trades; taker fees on live, futures and parlay trades
Props: 10 NBA prop types, including first basket and combo props
Live betting: in-game trading, with the option to sell a position before it settles
Where it works: every state except Arizona, Michigan and Nevada, per its help center (21+)
2. DraftKings: live betting and props
DraftKings’ App Store listing calls it the #1 sportsbook for live betting, based on available live market data, and lists player props “from NFL quarterbacks to NBA point guards.” For basketball that means in-game spreads, totals and props that reprice during play, plus same-game parlays. It’s rated 4.8 on both the App Store and Google Play, the best Android score on this list. DraftKings Predictions, offered through a CFTC-registered introducing broker, runs in the same app where the sportsbook isn’t licensed.
Best for: bettors who live-bet NBA games and build props
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Live betting: real-time spreads, totals and props during play
Where it works: sportsbook in licensed states (21+ in most); DraftKings Predictions in others
3. FanDuel: same-game parlays
FanDuel’s sportsbook is built around same-game parlays and live in-game markets, and its listing names the NBA directly. Its iPhone app has about 2.28 million ratings at 4.8, more than any other app here, though the Android app trails at 4.4. FanDuel Predicts, offered by FanDuel Prediction Markets LLC, runs inside the same app in 18 states, including California and Texas, and lets users combine up to eight predictions.
Best for: NBA same-game parlays
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Live betting: in-game markets and live same-game parlays
Where it works: sportsbook in licensed states; FanDuel Predicts in 18 other states, at 18+
4. bet365: in-game tools and streaming
bet365 puts its effort into live betting. The listing describes in-game markets on the NBA, live streaming that includes basketball, Match Live for following a game’s stats while your bets run, and Same Game Parlay+. It’s available in 16 states plus Washington, DC, and is rated 4.8 on the App Store and 4.6 on Google Play.
Best for: bettors who watch and bet on the same phone
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Live betting: in-game markets, streaming and Match Live
Where it works: 16 states plus DC
5. BetMGM: alternate lines
BetMGM’s listing names live bets, same-game parlays, player props, futures and alternate lines, which is useful in a sport where a point spread can be bought up or down by several points. It works in 23 states plus Washington, DC and Puerto Rico. The iPhone app is rated 4.8, but on Google Play it’s at 4.0, the lowest Android score here.
Best for: alternate spreads and totals
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Where it works: 23 states plus DC and Puerto Rico (21+)
6. Kalshi: the most-rated prediction market
Kalshi uses the same $1 contract model, and its NBA board covers game winners and spreads along with player markets such as first basket and points plus rebounds plus assists. It’s a CFTC-designated contract market with about 599,000 App Store ratings at 4.8, the largest base among the prediction markets here. Kalshi’s trades carry a transaction fee. Accounts open at 18, and the same account trades economics, weather and culture markets.
Best for: NBA contracts and non-sports markets in one account
Pricing: transaction fee set by Kalshi’s fee schedule
Where it works: most states under CFTC regulation (18+)
7. Caesars: Flex Your Parlay
Caesars offers player props, futures and same-game parlays on the NBA, plus Flex Your Parlay, which lets you flex chosen legs so a parlay with one or two misses still pays at reduced odds, and Watch & Bet on select games. It’s live in 23 states plus Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, and is rated 4.7 on the App Store and 4.5 on Google Play.
Best for: parlay bettors who want a cushion on missed legs
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Where it works: 23 states plus DC and Puerto Rico (21+)
8. Fanatics: rewards on every bet
Fanatics pays FanCash on bets, redeemable across Fanatics, and its listing names live betting and basketball player props. The same app offers either the sportsbook or Fanatics Markets, its prediction-market product, depending on the state. It’s rated 4.8 on the App Store and 4.7 on Google Play.
Best for: bettors who already buy from Fanatics
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Where it works: sportsbook in licensed states; Fanatics Markets where available
9. Hard Rock Bet: Florida’s option
Hard Rock Bet has the highest App Store score on this list, 4.9 from about 355,000 ratings. In Florida it’s offered by the Seminole Tribe and is the only legal online sportsbook, which makes it the app for Heat and Magic fans who want a sportsbook. Its listing names same-game parlays and basketball props such as points and rebounds. It also works in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
Best for: Florida bettors
Pricing: margin built into sportsbook odds
Where it works: 10 states, including Florida (21+)
How to choose an NBA betting app
Cost per bet: at -110 you need to win 52.4% of the time to break even. With no vig on a pre-game straight bet, the break-even is 50%.
Prop depth: if you bet NBA player props every night, compare menus for the stats you use, such as threes, rebounds and combo props, and whether alternate lines are offered.
Same-game parlays: every sportsbook here except Fanatics names them in its App Store listing. At a sportsbook, a parlay carries more margin than a straight bet.
Live betting: an NBA line can move on every possession, so a fast bet slip matters more than a long menu. Cash out, or selling a contract on a prediction market, lets you leave early.

Which app is best for live NBA betting?
DraftKings calls itself the top sportsbook for live betting based on live market data, and bet365 adds streaming and Match Live.
